This life is a gift.
Should it not be treated as such,
it will wither in the hands that hold it.

Should you be so callous to give this life no meaning,
you will be giving the garden of your soul no water.
Should you be so afraid to give this life no suffering,
you will be shielding your garden from the nourishing sun.

The sun that burns and the sun that gives life are the same sun.
Courage to walk through your suffering
and to weed out your fears that choke your character
is necessary in the garden of your soul.

Might you find yourself wondering
which way to go,
open your eyes and look at the stars—
you are always on the way.
The path has always been yours,
only, you have stopped walking.
